Movavi Video Converter can help you convert between media formats. It supports a wide range of audio and video file types as either input or output. Unfortunately, it does not let you create slideshows from pictures.
This program’s interface has a modern appearance, with a minimalistic design and a nice color combination. The elements, such as buttons and menus, have adequate visual hierarchy and clues that help you use the software without any problem whatsoever.
In order to create a conversion session, you should add files to a list. Not only individual files are allowed but also DVD folders and discs. However, you cannot add complete folders. At this point, you can preview the files and even take snapshots from them. It also supports some basic editing actions, such as rotating, cropping, adjusting colors and watermarking videos. Before you are ready to convert, you will need to select an output profile. Multiple presets are available, and many of them are identified by the name of the supporting devices, which is definitely a great help. However, if you are not satisfied with the built-in profiles, you can also edit existing ones or create your own presets from scratch.
In general, Movavi Video Converter is a fine and intuitive application that absolutely serves its purpose. An important advantage, not commonly found in other converters, is its integration with the system. In this regards, it supports starting a conversion job using a secondary click from Windows Explorer as well as from the command line. One thing that could make it lag behind the latest versions of some converters is that it does not support downloading movies from video-sharing sites.
Allows you to convert any popular video formats into MPEG, VCD, DVD format.
